Tiger Rag Tutorial

In this lesson, I teach my fingerstyle arrangement of “Tiger Rag.” It’s a lively, classic ragtime tune that’s packed with rhythm, movement, and plenty of challenge. The course is divided into 16 chapters, taking you through the entire piece step by step.

I start by performing it at full tempo, then again at a moderately slow pace, so you can clearly hear every detail. From there, I break it down section by section, explaining the techniques, fingerings, and musical ideas behind each part.

Everything is laid out clearly and in detail, giving you the chance to analyze and digest the material at your own pace. Tablature and standard notation are included, so you can follow along easily as you learn.
